Tracking and Connectivity

Nucleus Smart offers the capability to track the status and battery level of your Nucleus 7 Sound Processor, providing reassurance and ensuring optimal performance. If you ever misplace your processor, the app can assist in locating it. Moreover, it tracks your usage time spent in speech and the number of coil offs, contributing valuable insights into your listening patterns.

Compatibility and Usage

To fully utilize the features of Nucleus Smart, a Cochlear Account is required, though a Demo Mode is available for exploration. Ensure that your Nucleus 7 Sound Processor is paired with a compatible Android device, running Android 8 or later and supporting Bluetooth 4.0 or later, to enjoy seamless audio streaming through devices equipped with Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA) technology. Remember, the app’s GPS functionality is only active when locating a lost sound processor and does not continuously track your location.
